Natural Herbal Bath Salt Recipes to Help You Relax

To Help You Sleep:

2 Cups of Epsom Salts

1 Cup Baking Soda

4 Drops Lavender Oil

4 Drops Bergamot Oil

4 Drops Sandalwood Oil

This bath salt mixture is formulated to reduce anxiety, help you relax, and promote a deeper sleep. Baking soda is a powerful detoxifying agent and helps balance the water’s pH. Both Bergamot and Lavender have been proven to calm the mind, relax muscles and offset any feelings of stress and anxiety.

To Soothe Muscle Cramps:

2 Cups Epsom Salts

1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

6 Drops Clary Sage Oil

4 Drops Chamomile Oil

4 Drops Rose Oil

The Epsom Salts in this blend, which are rich in magnesium sulfate, help reduce water retention and inflammation in your muscles. The apple cider vinegar is rich in calcium and potassium which helps ease muscle tightness, and the clary sage helps you to relax. 

To Relieve Headaches:

2 Cups Epsom Salts

1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

4 Drops Peppermint Oil

8 Drops Lavender Oil

Peppermint oil is well known for its invigorating properties, helping to clear the sinuses and relieve any pressure on your head causing the pain. Lavender helps you to relax and clear your mind, while the Epsom Salts are helpful in reducing cortical-spreading depression (the visual and sensory changes that occur during a headache).
